Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are doing good! This week was so much fun, Montréal is the coolest place I've gotten to see so many different parts of the city. I love it here because every day I meet someone who is from another country, I feel like I get to know so many different parts of the world and cultures all in one place! All the Christmas decorations are going up and it is going to be so beautiful. And this week we started listening to Christmas music! This is the longest I have ever waited to listen to Christmas tunes so I was so happy! This week is the start of light the world! I am so excited. Christmas is my favorite time of the year but I have a feeling this year will be extra special. I want to focus this year on my Savior, because He is the reason for all the joy we have! Go to comeuntochrist.org to find the calendar and watch some amazing videos. I want to hear what you do to serve others this Christmas season! I hope you all have an amazing week and know how much I l...

Island Life - November 22,2021

Salut! Okey dokey this week was wild. Last week I was settled in prepared to stay in Lévis but God had a different plan. We got a call Tuesday night from President, he told us that there was a sister missionary who had to be sent home because of a knee injury and that I was being transferred to Montreal! So we had one hectic day of packing and now I'm here in the big city. It was hard leaving Lévis without saying goodbye to the members and our friends, but I know it's what was supposed to happen. Sœur Gibb got transferred to Québec so our area became a "white wash" meaning there's two new sisters in the area. So our last day together was spent writing pages of area notes, lots of praying, and packing. I was able to pack everything in 30 mins, and that is a miracle! The road trip was so fun, we listened to Christmas music it made me so happy. There are some really weird traffic rules on the island of Montreal, and there are people everywhere! It's so differen...

Allô mes amis! This week was wild. The work is so joyful! I had some amazing experience this week and learned so much. I feel so much fire for this work! Zone conference was this week and it was seriosly life changing. Some big take aways were that the doctrine of Christ is an upward cycle, we are a part of the ongoing restoration, here on earth we have a purpose to help others recieve and REMEMBER the restored gospel! I love the word remember, it holds a lot meaning for me. There is so much power that comes through remembering! Being a missionary is so much fun, and I am so grateful for the miracles I get to witness every day! Here's just a few highlights from the past two weeks: - I woke up to SNOW this morning! It's getting me so excited for Christmas. It's felt really strange to not have snow until now - The famille Kubaburanzi fed us African food and it was SOOOO GOOD!! - It was sœur Gibbs 20th birthday so decorated the appartment and make her favorite foods! - Our f...

Bonjour tout le monde! have no time to write today but I have to send some pictures from this week! We went to old Québec and it was a DREAM! The most beautiful place I have ever been hands down. It was magical! I felt like I was walking through à hallmark movie, it was the best day ever. There was a man praying the harp and people were dancing around, it was the happiest scene! I wish I had time to write about all the miracles that happened this week but for now, this will have to do! Remember that God loves you so much and He has à work for you to accomplish! I love you all so very much! - sœur hardy pics - vieux Québec !

Vrai Halloween - November 1, 2021

Hello family and friends! Vrai Halloween! This week was so good. The work here in Lévis is taking off and I am so happy to be here. This week was a miracle week! First off, we had exchanges with the STLs and it was so fun. I learned so much from Sœur McLeod and spending the day in Québec City was so cool! Missionary work can be stressful, the lows can be low but the highs are so high! This week I've gained a stronger testimony of the Atonement of Jésus-Christ, and how much I need repentance every day. His grace makes up for all my weaknesses and lack of motivation, and in turning to Him and trying my best to serve His children, I am able to remember my purpose and feel His love. It is such a humbling feeling to be a missionary, to feel God working through me. Faith leads to miracles! God's timing is incredible, and this week has reminded me that there are no coincidences! For Halloween, all of us missionaries had to stay inside for the night. It turned out being one of the ...

Crêpes with the kiddos- October 25, 2021

Hello friends and family! This was another good week! The weather is getting colder here in Québec and I'm getting so excited. I'm not sure why but I'm loving this season changing! Here's a cool fact, someone we talked to on the street this week said that Lévis was rated #3 best city to raise a family in Canada. I believe it, this place is so special! The people here are always happy and so kind to us! Another thing I love about this mission is how diverse it is! We are friends with people from Il Maurice, Africa, Haiti, Madagascar, there are literally people here from all around the world. It is so cool! Also it is very common for people to speak more than one language, one of our neighbors speaks 9 languages! Absolutely bizarre. And as always, I cannot fit everything I want to say into these journals with the short amount of time of have, but a highlight of this week was definitely meeting with our friend Luca and his family! They are the cutest family ever! They a...

Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Also, the most amazing thing happened this week! Our friend Alounal came to church with us!!! It was so special to be there with him and to watch him meet the members. He has a wife and 2 daughters, one who lives back in Haiti, and I cannot ...
