Vrai Halloween - November 1, 2021

Hello family and friends! Vrai Halloween! This week was so good. The work here in Lévis is taking off and I am so happy to be here. This week was a miracle week! First off, we had exchanges with the STLs and it was so fun. I learned so much from Sœur McLeod and spending the day in Québec City was so cool! Missionary work can be stressful, the lows can be low but the highs are so high! This week I've gained a stronger testimony of the Atonement of Jésus-Christ, and how much I need repentance every day. His grace makes up for all my weaknesses and lack of motivation, and in turning to Him and trying my best to serve His children, I am able to remember my purpose and feel His love. It is such a humbling feeling to be a missionary, to feel God working through me. Faith leads to miracles! God's timing is incredible, and this week has reminded me that there are no coincidences! For Halloween, all of us missionaries had to stay inside for the night. It turned out being one of the most successful nights! We also carved the cutest pumpkin with CLB - "chosir le bien", choose the right:) and baked the seeds, it was Sœur Gibbs first time! My mom is an absolute angel and sent me a package with halloween candy and little pumpkin treat bags so we were able to give the little kids a treat! I think I wrote a bit about Luca + Anza's family last week, we went by to give their kids a treat and they were all dressed up in their costumes! It was SO cute! When we left, they all stood at the door waving, I will never forget that picture! Another highlight from this week was meeting Derek. Derek is a single father with two kids, one of his boys has autism. He really opened up to us about the struggles he experiences and his doubts about if there is a God. We didn't know how to answer all his questions about why he had these hard challenges, but I felt the spirit so strong as we taught about our loving Heavenly Father. He knows us, He is the only one who knows why we are given the trials we are. Everything that is unfair about this life will be made right through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Dale G. Renlund's talk titled "Infuriating Unfairness" really helped us this week. There are so many questions we don't have the answers to, and many that we won't get answers for in this life, and that is okay! Because God knows what is best for us, and we just have to trust in Him to make everything work for our good. Listen to this talk this week and your perspective will be changed, I know mine was. It's so good! I hope you all have an amazing week! You are always in my prayers! - sœur hardy pics - CLB pumpkin - halloween treat bags! - William's first time trick or treating - fun times with ma comp - exchanges!
