Leaving the Nest - November 15, 2021

Allô mes amis! This week was wild. The work is so joyful! I had some amazing experience this week and learned so much. I feel so much fire for this work! Zone conference was this week and it was seriosly life changing. Some big take aways were that the doctrine of Christ is an upward cycle, we are a part of the ongoing restoration, here on earth we have a purpose to help others recieve and REMEMBER the restored gospel! I love the word remember, it holds a lot meaning for me. There is so much power that comes through remembering! Being a missionary is so much fun, and I am so grateful for the miracles I get to witness every day! Here's just a few highlights from the past two weeks: - I woke up to SNOW this morning! It's getting me so excited for Christmas. It's felt really strange to not have snow until now - The famille Kubaburanzi fed us African food and it was SOOOO GOOD!! - It was sœur Gibbs 20th birthday so decorated the appartment and make her favorite foods! - Our friend Alounal told us he wants to be baptised! I'm so excited for him and the steps he is taking to come closer to Christ. He has such strong faith and his testimony is so powerful - district conference! It was so fun to be gathered in the chapel with the members here in Québec - We got transfer news and I'm going to be training in a trio! I still feel like I have no clue what I'm doing but I'm excited for this adventure! I'm so sad that Sœur Gibb, she has been the best trainer in the world. I'm going to miss her like crazy. Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
