Crêpes with the kiddos- October 25, 2021

Hello friends and family! This was another good week! The weather is getting colder here in Québec and I'm getting so excited. I'm not sure why but I'm loving this season changing! Here's a cool fact, someone we talked to on the street this week said that Lévis was rated #3 best city to raise a family in Canada. I believe it, this place is so special! The people here are always happy and so kind to us! Another thing I love about this mission is how diverse it is! We are friends with people from Il Maurice, Africa, Haiti, Madagascar, there are literally people here from all around the world. It is so cool! Also it is very common for people to speak more than one language, one of our neighbors speaks 9 languages! Absolutely bizarre. And as always, I cannot fit everything I want to say into these journals with the short amount of time of have, but a highlight of this week was definitely meeting with our friend Luca and his family! They are the cutest family ever! They are learning English and wanted to practice with us so it was so much fun! Also, bless their souls, they made us crêpes and the most delicious cake. It was the best thing ever! We've been getting to know our neighbors better, they are so kind and they gave us ice cream bars the other night! And then one of them came to church with us so that was really cool too! It was the primary presentation this week so that was so special! It was the first sunday I felt like I understood most of what was said! I love when little kids talk about Jesus Christ, they have such powerful testimonies! I hope you all have an amazing week! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
