Divine Signatures - February 28, 2022
Bonjour tout le monde!
I hope you all had a good week! I don't have much time this week so I'll have to summarize the miracles! Some highlights from this week were
- setting up an appartment in record time, it was so fun!
- à lesson with our dear friend Ouarda, she is seriously the sweetest and her testimony is so strong. I learned a lot from her.
- zone conference and interviews with président! It was the most motivating and encouraging week. One thing I focused on this week was recognizing and giving thanks for my spiritual experiences, and these two days were huge for me.
- We were coming home one night and were able to help someone who was stuck. Just two sister missionaries, in our dresses, pushing a little car through a snow bank haha! It was really fun and I was very grateful God put us in the right place at the right time.
- I learned so much from the spirit this week in my studies. It was the best feeling ever
- this week we had freezing rain in Montreal, so for a few days everything was covered in ice. The parking lots were literal skating rinks! It was so funny to see all the people just sliding their way to work and school
- we got our 3rd covid dose and I DIDN'T FAINT!! That was a miracle from this week. Thank you sour patch kids for keeping me alive, also to Sœur Morais she is the sweetest. Another miracle that happened there, the man that checked us in said he would be interested in coming to church! Hopefully!
- In-person church might be my favorite thing ever, it was seriously the highlight of our week. I love seeing all the members and being in the church building, there's just nothing quite like it!
This week we were really able to see the Lord's "divine signatures" as sister Roberts calls them. Those little moments that show us that He is aware of us and He loves us. They are everywhere around us! We didn't count how many lessons fell through this week, but we were counting the miracles! His little divine signatures are in every day, we just have to have the eyes to see them. Being a missionary right now, I don't really know what is going on in the world. I know there is a lot of confusion and scary things happening. Something this has really taught me has been that our happiness comes from our focus. I have felt more joy, and more peace than I have ever felt in my life before since being a missionary. I know that there are so many things that happen that we can't control, but I know that turning to Christ is the only way to have lasting joy and peace. We are in His hands, and He knows us. He keeps His promises as we keep ours and trust in Him. And I have truly felt of that. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father, and He truly cares for each of His children perfectly! This week, look for His divine signatures in your life, I promise you'll find them!
Je vous aime beaucoup!! À tantôt!
