Trusting God - August 15, 2022

Bonjour tout le monde ! This week was one I will remember. We had some awesome miracles and also some really hard experiences. But it's all helped me to see the hand of the Lord more. This week a family we are teaching got some really hard news, they are going through a big trial and my heart hurts so much for them. On my mission I've seen lots of unfair things happen to good people, I would day that's been one of the hardest parts about my mission. My companion and I cried à lot and prayed à lot for them this week. It is still really difficult but the amount of faith this family has is inspiring. Something Sœur Rasmussen said really comforted me, we were talking about why God doesn't interfere when things like this happen. We had a good discussion about agency and trust. We don't know the reason for everything but God does, He knows the end of the plan and the things we have to endure in this life are nothing compared to that joy. Despite it all, I know that Father in Heaven is always beside us. I saw one of my greatest exemples this week!! Sister Winterton and I hit our 13 months together, so crazy! She is just such a life and it was so fun to be with her again. This week I was able to get a priesthood blessing and it was exactly what I needed. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to receive strength and comfort beyond my own. I'm so thankful for the many ways we can hear God's voice and be FILLED with His love. Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
