Transfers - March 21, 2022

Bonjour tout le monde!! Quick email today but I just wanted to say that I'm doing so good and that God loves you! I had a few Heavenly Father loves me moments this week. One of them was in the missions uhaul storage unit, of all places! We were just organizing and I was hit so strongly by the spirit. I just felt so blessed and loved! Another similar moment was at church, I was leading the closing hymn - God Be With You Till We Meet Again. (Go read the lyrics!) I was looking out at our beloved Hochelaga family and just felt so much love for this place, these people, and my mission. These people I have met and served with in Montreal gave truly changed me, and I'm so grateful that God sent them to me. Some other things that happened this week - our friend Brigitte who is in a wheelchair met our other member friend Brigitte who is also in a wheelchair, it was the cutest thing and they get along so well - another team of sisters was busy this week so we got to cover their service at à womens shelter! We got to paint nails with these women for two hours! It was SO much fun, I was thriving. The women who work there are just amazing - we got transfer news and I will be leaving. Hochelaga! Montréal has a big part of my heart but I am so excited for this new adventure in Longeuil. I'm so excited to get to know and learn from all the wonderful sisters in the zone. - lots of time spent at the mission office. I have loved being able to work around the senior missionaries, I feel so blessed to have gotten to know them so well and it will definitely be hard saying goodbye! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. This Christmas I'm going to try to better understand the significance of Christ's mission and strengthen my relationship with Him. I love this quote by O. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
