The Happiest Work - September 12, 2022

Bonjour tout le monde ! We had a crazy busy week, we decided we wanted to always be on the go and God provided so many miracles. Here is my week in bullet point form:) - we had a stake relief society activity and it was so fun ! - our new friend Gina is so incredible. She is so strong and has the craziest story. Also the kids here in Quebec always show me up, her kids both have less than 10 years and they are both fluent in 5 languages - we had lots of dinners with our members which is my favorite - we talked with the cutest Spanish family this week - MLC! Super revelatory, such a cool meeting. I felt so motivated and filled, I just love missionary work - we had dinner with bishop and his family and Linda and Cody. We had an awesome lesson and it was just my favorite thing ever - Natacha chose a date for her baptism! It will be October 8, so keep her in your prayers s'il te plaît ! - we got to watch a devotional and it was so good. I have a new found love for the stories of the Saints ! Alright I wanted to share one of my new favorite miracles from the Bible. This one really got me this week. I would encourage you to go study mark 2! The beginning of the chapter explains how multitudes of people were gathered to listen to Christ. A man of palsy was brought to Christ to be healed by him, but when the people realized they couldn't get to Jesus through the crowd of people, they didn't give up, they went to the roof. They broke down the roof so their frriend could reach Jesus. Christ saw their faith and He was healed. I LOVE this miracle. It made me think of my own efforts to come unto Christ. Am I taking extraordinary efforts to come unto him, and I climbing onto the rooftops and doing everything I can to help my friends reach Him? This is the kind of faith I want to have. Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. This Christmas I'm going to try to better understand the significance of Christ's mission and strengthen my relationship with Him. I love this quote by O. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
