Surprise Surprise Party - June 13, 2022

Bonjour tout le monde! This week was incredible. We had a mission tour and elder Douglas from the 70 instructed us and it was a day I won't forget! It is marked on our calendars. I am just so happy to be a part of this work and to be able to serve with so many incredible people in the CMM. Happiest moment of this week, our friend Islande decided she wants to be baptized on July 2! She is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, I definitely think we knew each other before meeting here in Longueuil. I am so excited for her. Funny story from this week, we had a dinner appointment with Lucette a day before Sœur Gebhardts birthday, but we were on exchanges so Sœur Marteeny and I ended up going. Turns out Lucette had planned a surprise birthday souper for sis Geb. We walked to joyeuse anniversaire blasting and her whole apartment was decorated! We felt so bad but it was a fun night none the less. We learned Quebecs traditional birthday song! Transfers happen this week and I'll be staying in Longueuil with sis Geb and we are becoming a trio! It will be so fun! I hope you all have the best week! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
