Sunshine For the Soul - May 16, 2022

Bonjour!! This week was so amazing, we saw so many miracles. This week I was so humbled and and changed by the experiences we had. If I have learned anything on my mission it is that God is so aware of all of His children, and that there are no coincidences! I met a lot of people this week that I needed to meet. Here's a cool miracle, a couple weeks ago we met a woman at the bus stop, her name is Esther! She wasn't interested at all but we had a good conversation and became friends! We weren't able to set up a lesson BUT all was well because God had a plan. Early this week we were in a park and happened to run into Esther. Her brother had just been in a really bad accident and we were able to talk with her and help her feel peace. It was one of those cool experiences I've had where I've been able to feel God's love for someone else. This experience helped me feel God's love because it showed me He is so aware of our individual circumstances. And His timing is perfect! Somehow we were able to talk with the same woman in a random park on the other side of the city. Another highlight of this week was the devotional with President and Sister Nelson. WOW. The spirit was so strong. I don't think I've felt more happiness, peace, or hope than I did sitting on our carpet watching that devotional. If you didn't have a chance to watch it, please do it! I am so grateful for the truths that our prophet taught about our divine identity and divine potential. I know that as we listen to their inspired direction we will be prepared to receive the joy that God wants to bless us with! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
