Bonjour tout le monde!!
This week was amazing! We had zone conférence this week! It is so powerful being gathered with so many missionnaires. We arranged a blitz for after zone conference and that was so much fun! So many miracles happened with all of us missionnaires out at the same time!
I wanted to share an experience I had this week that really impacted me. To preface this story, missionary life is so much fun because sometimes all we have to do is say hello, people see our tags and then start unloading their whole life story to us! One morning we were walking an said hello to a guy in his car. He saw super anxious and started talking a mile a minute and telling us about his life. He was so confused and hurt, for almost an hour an a half we just stood there - we hardly said anything. My heart was SO HEAVY for Jonathan. This was one of the hardest conversations I've had because he had zero hope, it was so sad. He was carrying so much - he told us about how he was abused in his own home, was being harassed at work, had fallen off a roof a month ago which resulted in many health problems, strained relationships with his friends and family, all of his worries and speculations on world politics, and how he has a trial because of an unjust accusation. It was really cool because by the end of the conversation he was alright, he just needed someone to cry to and someone to listen. Christ focused on the one, and He listens to everyone! We were able to share that truth with Jonathan and I just pray that he will choose to accept it. I'm not sure if he will choose to turn to God or not, but I am grateful for that experience because it taught me so much! I was holding back tears listening to him because he was carrying so much, so many heavy burdens, and he didn't have to carry them! I just wanted him to turn to Jesus Christ and allow him to help. I KNOW there is so much healing and peace that comes through the Savior, and that with Him we never have to carry our burdens alone! If you have anything weighing on you, I hope you know that He can carry it with you! Also you can read mosiah 24:14 for comfort.
I just wanted to share that experience this week, I hope you all have an amazing week! JE VOUS AIME!
