Métro du Mecredi à Montréal - May 9, 2022

Salut tout le monde! This week was seriously the best week ever! I loved it so much. It is so beautiful here in Longueuil and everyone is just so much happier now that the sun is shining. We got sunburnt twice this week so we were happy. President called us at the beginning of the week with an audible, he needed us to spend 2 days at the mission home translating for a new missionary who just arrived from France and doesn't speak any english. Those two days were everything we needed and I'm so grateful for everything I learned and felt! First of all, I never would have expected that I would be able to be a translator - that was a really big boost for my confidence in French haha. It was so much fun to be able to talk with Sœur Goisnard and welcome her to the mission! She is so incredible, I seriously loved every second with her! We were able to go contacting on the metro for 3 hours together and it was the best day of my life. I've changed a lot on the mission but one of my favorite parts of being a missionary is having absolutely NO FEAR. Sœur Goisnard really taught me that, we had a blast. I count it as one of my biggest blessings that I got to spend time with all the new missionaries for a few days. They are so amazing and bring such an enthusiasm and strength. It was so special to be in the mission home as they start their journeys in the best work there will ever be! Thus week was also transfers and MLC, and it just so happened that I was able to run into every one of my past companions! So that was super super happy! I'm so grateful for them all! Sunday miracles!! My heart literally almost exploded this Sunday! It was such a good day. First of all, happy mothers day to all you mothers in my life! This Sunday the little primary kids sang a song for mothers day and I was able to play the piano for them, they are so precious! It was the happiest day because Christelle and her girls were all able to be there. Justine and Islam were also there! It was just the best day. I love church so much and this ward is the best. I hope you all had a good week and joyeuse fête des mères! I'm so thankful for the incredible examples of women I have in my life and who I look up to. Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
