Joyeuses Pâques - April 18, 2022

Allô mes amis! I hope you had such a good Easter Week! This was such an incredible week. I love easter so much because I'm able to focus more on my savior. We had so much fun this week talking about Jesus and sharing His gospel! This week I was reading in Matthew 28 about the resurrection. These verses give me so much hope and joy! Our mission made some big plans this week and we are all feeling an increase in urgency. As a mission we are all leaving our apartments at 10 to talk to people on the street. I love meeting new people and we seen so many miracles. Sometimes you get asked by creepy men to get in a taxi, other times you find a best friend who wants to come to church with you! You win some, you loose some haha. We have all kinds of experiences. It's the best! BUT this chapter was SO good, because it holds such a comforting promise. v5-9 are some of my favorite verses in the Bible - Mary and Mary were seeking Jesus when they were met by angels. They ran with great joy to tell others about Jesus. As they were turning outwards, in the act of telling others about Christ "JESUS MET THEM" (v9). I love this so much. Jesus meets us in our efforts to share His love. We can be sure that somewhere along the path of sharing this good news, we will meet Jesus. He comes to us where we are, and when we are seeking and and seeking to tell others of Him, we are promised we shall see Him. There's my little thought for today! I'm grateful for a savior who meets me where I am, and who gives me so much hope! Have a blessed week my friends! JE VOUS AIME! Other things that happened that I don't want to forget:) - finding Balet and her family - Christelles daughters want to get baptized and chose their own date! - bus accident experience - exchanges with the hermanas - got called a giant by a cute old couple who fed us dinner - kinda got a sunburn one morning - Lauriane!! First person we talked to during 10-12 and she walked all the way home from the bus stop with us! Then she came to church the next day. She is a miracle. - delivered easter bags to our friends - running with a 60+ lady to catch her bus after an incredible lesson. Sœur Dorcin is the best - I hit 9 months as a missionary! QUOI!? That was a major stop this train moment, it's going wayyy too fast - Sœur Hardy pics - windy days - pretty skies - easter baggies for our friends
