Heartbeat Messages - July 18, 2022

This week was one of my favorite weeks on the mission. So many miracles and answers to prayers. This might be a long one - we had a street smart for sisters meeting with Sister Harkness and it was probably one of my favorite things ever. We felt so empowered - our friend suraya from a while ago called us and said she wants us to start coming over again! - zone conférence was incredible. Life changing stuff, but we just talked about the basics which I love. Coming unto Christ and leading with the book of mormon. I'm so grateful for our personal savior and his one-by-one ministry - I absolutely love Longueuil zone. It has been so incredible to see how the missionaries are so excited and united with the work, miracles are happening here! - we had dinner with so man members this week and were able to share the miracles we are having and help them get to know our friends a bit better! - we met Frantz! Cool experience, we were able to talk to him just after he pulled over and he was interested in coming to church! - sacrament meeting was incredible! Us 4 missionaries gave talks and then the 2nd councilor gave the best talk, the ward was so fired us about missionary work it was awesome. Lauriane was really able to connect with some members yesterday at church so that made us so happy! Yesterday's meeting was a huge answer to our prayers - okay. Yesterday we had the most amazing day, miracles one after the other, but I think we just had the eyes to see them yesterday. We had dinner with the famille Monette and they are incredible. Their faith is so strong. Frère Monette had covid about a year ago and nobody thought he would make it, but God still had a work for him to do. It was so tender to hear their family bear their testimonies of that difficult experience but the peace that they were somehow able to feel. It was so touching to see how excited he got when we asked him about his mission. I will never forget reciting the standard of truth with him! This week I've done a lot of reflecting, I hit my one week mark as a missionary this week. This experience has changed me, one thing I am infinitely grateful for is my testimony of Christ that has been strengthened. I could write BOOKS about what this time has taught me, but one of the most important things I've learned is to cherish the scriptures. And that is something we can all do. This week I read a talk by Tad R. Callister, he says that the book of mormon contains 《messages with à heartbeat - messages that live and breathe and inspire.》 I LOVE THAT. And it's so true, the more I have studied them seeking to learn, they have become precious to me. I have learned so much about my savior throughout this past year and I cab testify that His gospel is a gospel of heartbeat messages. These things are REAL. Many times this week God blessed us with opportunities to share these messages that breathe joy, and that is one of my favorite things! If these truths aren't messages with à heartbeat to you yet, that's okay, they can be! This was a long one, but there was just to many things this week that I don't want to forget!
