Grateful - September 5, 2022

Allô Allô! This week was incredible. One of the best weeks. I am so grateful for all the miracles we saw this week. God is just so good and I'm so happy to be a part of His work. This whole week we thought I would be leaving Longueuil but I have another transfer here! I'm SO happy. I've been here for 6 months so these people feel like family. This week was so tender, we got to see our friends testimonies really grow. My favorite thing ever is when our friends end up teaching us with their testimonies. Natacha called us this week and basically taught us the whole restoration, she even used scriptures from the book of mormon! One of my favorite phone calls. This Sunday was one of the most special Sundays. We had so many friends come including Suraya and her family, I met them my first day here back in March so it was cool to see it come full circle. Lauriane, Natacha, and Sandrine were also there! There was a special spirit after the elders friend was confirmed with the holy ghost, and we had a baby blessing as well! It was such a happy sunday that I won't forget. I wanted to share something that really stood out to me this week. I've been studying about gratitude and how the Savior showed gratitude. I read a talk this week that shared this quote from Anna Quindlen, she explained how as a young mother she regrets not living more in the moment. She says《treasure the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less.》I loved that so much. And it got me thinking about Christ and how much He treasured the doing. He lived in the moment, he was fully there wherever He was with a grateful heart. He always made time to pray and He was never too busy for a leper. I think one of the reasons that He was able to forgive even as He was on the cross was because of His gratitude for the Father and His plan. All Christ wanted to do was the Father's will. He lived with an attitude of gratitude and that affected every step He took with joy. Gratitude is so powerful! I hope you all had an amazing week and that you know how much God loves you! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
