General Conference - October 3, 2022

Hello friends ! I am so grateful for this week and everything I learned. We were able to watch général conférence this weekend and it was everything I needed. I am so grateful for the peace and joy I was able to feel. There were so many incredible talks that I felt like were written just for me. I'm grateful for the brightened perspective I was able to see through listening to the prophet and inspired church leaders. I'm so grateful for personal revelation and to know that the heavens are open. We have an amazing answer to our prayers after one of the saturday sessions. I was feeling so much love for the gospel and the scriptures, especially the book of mormon. We had a busy evening but as we were on our way back to the church we met the sweetest girl Éloise. She was one of those people that God knew I needed to meet. We were able to share with her the book of mormon and she accepted a copy excitedly to read it that night. These moments make everything worth it. I was reminded this week how central Jesus Christ is to this work, and it is the most fulfilling thing to be an instrument in God's hand to bring them a little closer to their savior. We don't know what will happen with Éloise in the future, but I'm confident that she felt God's love for her just like I did. One of the sweetest members in the ward made lunch for us Sunday in between sessions and it was so special. She had a table set up and our friends loved it. It was so kind of her to leave her family to come watch it with us and our friends. I'll always remember that. One sad point from this week, we had a friend who wanted to watch conférence with us. She sent us a text and after 10 minutes of searching for her we found out that she was at nouvelle vie instead. I'm still so excited to meet her. Love you all ! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
