BEST NEWS EVER - May 23, 2022

Salut mes amis!! This was such an amazing week. So many fun mémoires made this week. We had another crazy pday so you get my random bullet points this week:) - we had dinner with families Gonzalez + Breton and is was so fun. The members here are just the best - we had a Canadian tire miracle! Usually my Canadian tire experiences have been less than enjoyable but this time but met a lady named patience, and she was the best. After a couple days of struggling she had our car fixed within an hour. She was an angel!! - this week we had a lesson with our friend Islande and Sœur Mayrand. It was Frère Mayrands birthday so we celebrated with them. We had such a spirit filled lesson. I've never been so happy squished into a table made for short people, eating Costco hotdogs. Mission life is the best. - Lucette showed us around her childhood home and shared with us her experience of her first time "meeting Heavenly Father" - we had a relief society activity! One of our friends came, it was so much fun! - we did exchanges in Drummondville and Victoriaville, it was so fun to explore these cute towns. We saw too many cois carts too count - on exchanges we help à member plant her garden for this year, it was so good for my soul. Her backyard was FULL of forget-me-nots it was so pretty - we street contacted this old lady on her balcony and ended up having a lesson with her and her friend this week! Marie-Claire and Jean-Claude, they are so cute - Bernie. Bernie was a miracle for me, we met him on his balcony and he was so kind. He has family living in Alberta so immediately he got out his adress book and started asking me questions once I told him I'm from Alberta. We learned that his wife had just recently passed away and shared with him a bit of the hope we feel through the gospel. He gave us a tour of his house - most of the doors were less than 6 feet tall so I had to duck hehe. Before we left they gave each of us a can of maple syrup and a cactus, I'm going have to figure out how to bring it home with me after the mission, I'm keeping it forever! I don't know if we will ever see Bernie again but his kindness and selflessness really struck me. I'm SO thankful for that experience. - super sad news, our friend graciela was really sick this week. We are rescheduling her baptism but please pray that she will start healing soon! Ok, now for the best news of my whole entire life. We were on exchanges in Victo when I learned from Sister Marteeny that the Lévis branche is getting a chapel! I literally cried tears of joy. I will never forget the time I spent in Lévis or the special sacrament meetings I attended. I am so so so happy and excited for them to finally have a church building. That news just made this week the best week ever. I am so grateful to be a part of this great work and to see firsthand how God is gathering Israel. There is nothing better! I love you all so much!! Have the best week! À tantôt! - Sœur Hardy pics - the new district! - our bestie Island and Sœur Mayrand, best night ever - luccette's jazz class for the relief society, possibly the best night of my life - my cactus and maple syrup from Bernie - garden crew - sœur Britton + giant pencil crayons
