Salut - January 10, 2022

Salut! Another week! These weeks just seem to be getting faster and faster. Like always, we had so much service this week, I've never counted the hours before but this week we had 32. Usually, we aren't supposed to do over 10 hours of service but we are the exception. That being said, our area is doing so good. I can't explain it, because the success we are seeing doesn't make sense with the amount of time we have to do our missionary work. But that just continues to show me that this is God's work, and He is the one that makes it happen! Somehow we were able to have so many lessons this week, and our members were available to join us. Technology is such a blessing. We are busier than we were before the lockdown, which is so amazing. Also, I just want to give a huge thank you to all you moms. Since being on the housing team I have really come to know how much work it takes to have a clean apartment. We had to clean some apartments this week that were just disgusting, and it made me so grateful for the work that my mom did for us! I never realized how gross an oven could get until I spent 2 hours this week scrubbing one. Sooo go clean your oven, alright? It would make me so happy This week God led us to 6 new people who are interested in meeting with us and coming unto Christ. It was so incredible. One of my favorite parts of being a missionary is getting to meet so many different people and hear their stories and how they have come to believe. Building relationships with them has been so much fun and I am so excited to see how they will progress. On Saturday Sister Harkness joined our companion study and it was definitely a highlight of my week. It was so incredible to be able to talk with her and feel of her spirit, I feel like she is my friend and that is so cool. President and Sister Harkness are genuine and you can feel the love they have for each missionary. We were able to plan for our lessons with her and she shared this scripture that I absolutely love. 1 Nephi 8:21 《And I saw numberless concourses of people, many of whom were pressing forward, that they might obtain the path which led unto the tree by which I stood.》 It was a very special moment as we reflected together on the numberless concourses of people, here in Québec who are searching for the truth. Who wants to be where we are standing, with the joy of the fulness of the gospel. I am so grateful for this gospel and for the gathering of Israel, it really is the most important work on this earth and I am so glad to be a part of it! I love you all! Thank you for your prayers, I felt them and they made a big difference this week. I hope you have an amazing week! - sœur hardy - pics - Sister Chatterley after fitting a box spring in our car - cute studio we set up for a senior missionary
