Miracles on Rue Masson - February 14, 2022

Salut! Another week filled with miracles. I am so grateful for this week and everything I've learned, we are so busy and I love it with all my heart. First of all, WE GOT TO GO TO CHURCH IN PERSON!! It was seriously one of the best days yet. It was so special to be gathered again as a ward family. To sing French hymns with the little primary kids, hear people I love bear their humble testimonies, and partake of the sacrament. It has been a long 8 weeks since I last had the sacrament. So yesterday was renewing, I felt absolutely filled. My appreciation of the sacrament has really transformed since being on a mission, and I have such a firm testimony of the enabling, renewing, healing, motivating power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I will always remember this Sunday. Transfers happened! Sister Chatterley left and I stayed in Montreal. I am so happy to be staying here, Hochelaga is such an amazing area. I got a new companion, and you'll never guess who! SŒUR MORAIS!! I am so excited for this transfer with her. We were "companions" back in Edmonton in our mission prep class, so it is so fun to be companions with her in real life. She is just the sweetest and I know we are going to see so many miracles together. I wanted to share a miracle that stood out this week! There is never a dull moment in Montreal, but this week especially we had some crazy experiences. Last week, as we were ordering chicken wraps at Tim Hortons the man asked us if we were from a church. We had a conversation with him and he was interested in coming to church. It was so cool to see how God put us in the right place at the right time. This week we met up with him again, and while we were there we met another man who wants to come to church! It was crazy! We will definitely be going back there. Every time I've gone there I've met someone who wants to come to church. It's a miracle Timmy's haha! It really built my testimony of Heavenly Father. He is so aware of each of His children, wherever they may be - even in a Tim Hortons. God loves us so much. He is so good. This week I had some really special experiences where I felt God's love so strong. I know that He places people in our lives in the exact moment that we need them, this week I was blessed to be on both sides of His work. I want you all to know that God has a plan for you, and there are specific people who need you. I have learned so much about God's love for His children and our divine potential. One of my favorite talks is Eyes to See by Michelle D. Craig, her words are more powerful than mine could ever be, every time I read her talk I learn more about myself and others around me. I know that if you read it the spirit will help you develop the eyes to see how God sees. I love you all so much and am so thankful for you! Have the bestest week my friends!
