Lévis Bound ! - August 30, 2021

What a week! So much has happened this week I hope I can remember it all! I flew to Montreal on Tuesday with 10 other missionaries! That night we went to the mission home to meet with President and Sister Harkness. They are absolutely incredible. I felt the spirit so strong in their home and I'm so grateful to be serving in this mission. The missionaries here are so amazing, I have so much to learn from them. I am so excited to finally be here! My trainer is sœur Gibb from Edmonton and she is an angel. She has been SO helpful and loving. I feel so blessed to have her as my trainer. She is the kindest. Right now we are covering 3 branches, one in Lévis! They call it the paradise, I love it so much! Québec is absolutely beautiful, the buildings and flowers make me so happy! The people here are incredible. Missionary work is blossoming in Lévis because of the members. It has been so humbling to see. This Sunday we went to church at the Centre de congrès, it's basically just a big office building, and we had sacrament meeting in one of the rooms. I was able to share my testimony in French and it was so cool. It's amazing how much love I have for these people already. The french has been a challenge, but I know it will come with time! I so badly want to understand these people so I can help them! But I know that as I rely on the spirit I will be led. This past week has taught me so much about my Savior and I am excited to continue learning and sharing about His love. This gospel is the most important thing on this earth. I know that is true. I wish I could write down everything but there wouldn't be enough time! One thing I know for sure, is God answers prayers, and He still performs miracles. He is in your life whether you recognize it or not, and He loves you so much! I promise that if you take the time to talk to Him, and then listen, you will see how He speaks to you! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. I loved the Christmas devotional last night. Sister Cordon talked about how when we understand the significance behind the gift, it becomes priceless. The gift of our Saviors birth is the most priceless gift we have ever received. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
