God Is Aware - August 7, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! These weeks are flying by so fast. It's crazy. I just got my flight plans this week so that is exciting! I'm flying out to Montreal in just over two weeks! I cannot wait! Although, two more weeks of language learning isn't nearly enough for me. It's a bit intimidating to think that I'll be in the field that soon, but I'm so excited. I've really learned how to rely on the spirit through the MTC. There's now way I would be able to understand and learn this much without help. Brookie lan's birthday was this week! Sweet sixteen! I am so happy I was able to be home for that. Having this extra time with my family has been such a blessing. Also I'm so proud of her for passing her drivers, now I have another companion to drive me around! Yayyy! I hope you know how amazing you are sis, love you tons. Here's a quote for you all, it's one of my favs. "Those who leave everything in God's hands will eventually see God's hands in everything." - someone very wise (sorry I don't have the name). If we look, we can see God's hand in our lives more. He gives us little miracles everyday, we just have to be humble enough to see them. When I look for the little miracles in my life, I am always amazed by how much God is aware of me. I always feel increased gratitude when I reflect on the ways he has blessed me. This week I'm going to write down the miracles I see in my life every day, and I challenge you to do the same!! I know it can change our perspectives and attitudes! Have a good week everyone! Allô à tous !! This week was wild. I had to say goodbye to sœur Rice:( and I got my new companion Sœur Tate ! She is new in the mission and I have already learned so much from her. I'm just feeling so grateful for this privilege I have to serve the Lord and come closer to Him. I am so excited for this Christmas season and the opportunity we have to focus more on Jesus Christ. Mission Tour - Monday October 18, 2021

Bonjour mes amis!! This week was so crazy good. I loved it so much! We had a mission tour with Elder and Sister Johnson so every morning we were able to meet with the whole mission on zoom! It was so fun and the spirit taught me so much! It was so edifying. I wanted to share this scripture verse I loved from this week, Elder Johnson called it the formula for learning and personal revelation. Mosiah 2:9 "... hearken unto me, and open your ears that ye may hear, and your hearts that ye may understand, and your minds that the mysteries of God may be unfolded to your view." I know that God wants to speak to us. There may be things that He has been wanting to tell you! This week I'm going to look for those things and I hope you do too! Allô ! I am soaking up second I have left gere in Québec, I'm going to miss it so much. Even though we didn't have many appointments this week because people are so busy with the holidays, we had some really awesome experiences. One of my very favorite things in the world is watching the change that happens in people when they honestly seek Christ and are seeking to recognize the spirit. Our friend Olga described it perfectly when she was telling us about the big peace that she had in her heart and the happiness that she felt all week long. These past 2 transfers as a mission we've been studying the 5 gospels - Matt, Mark, Luke, Jean, and 3 Nephi. I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ, I could write à book about it. One thing that really stood out to me is Christ's capacity to heal. No matter where He was, He healed all who came unto Him with faith.
