Fish in the Lake - September 13, 2021

Bonjour mes amis! Okay quick story time. One day we were at this beautiful park with tons of trails, there were so many people it was so fun to see! It was my turn to start a conversation and we were walking toward this group of four boys who were obviously going fishing. They had their shiny rods, nets, coolers, tackle boxes, everything! I'm just setting the scene here for the embarrassing moment I had! As I walked up to them the only thing I could say was "is there fish in this lake?". They quickly realized I didn't know much french and my companion helped me out! I only tell that story because one, it was a hilarious moment that I don't want to forget, and two because I would not have done that three weeks ago! I have already seen myself grow so much, not in my language ability necessarily (although I hope so) but in my effort to try! Bonjour tout le monde! Life in Lévis is blessed. Every day is filled with experience and learning, it's hard to know what to write about! So here's a little update, our mission is now allowed to street contact! So we can share the gospel on the street! The people here are so nice, it's fun talking with them. We've had some interesting experiences and I've definitely gained some funny mission experiences! I really should take the time to write them down because I don't want to forget them! Back to street contacting, sometimes it's hard to share something that is so important to me so casually, I want to show these people how much the gospel means to me and how much I love them in a natural way!
